Still have a "temporary" hold on the funds, it's been 9 days. IlMakiage blames my financial institution & their terms, my bank says they cannot release the hold until the company rejects the payment.
I hope I end up owning this joke of a company, and I'm looking for a new financial institution. Stay tuned....
Last email reply from IlMakiages support agent asked me to please wait until tomorrow, October 14th, for the funds to mine again, because then it will have been a full 5 days since I placed my order, which btw, I still do not have in my possession.
After taking the online makeup quiz to find my shade (foundation), I skimmed through the fine print quickly but didn't miss the part about the company putting a temporary hold on the full price of any item I might order as a way to prevent fraud and ensure that if I did in fact decide to keep the product after the try-before-I-buy time frame, I had the money in my account to pay in full. That's a great premise, an excellent idea; however, the full amount for the makeup product I haven't even received yet has been, and kept on this 'hold' almost 5 days now! IlMakiage repeatedly has told me, via lame b.s. emails, that it's still on the temporary hold because of my financial institution's guidelines and the hold should just 'fall off' after a few days and that I should just be patient.
I placed my order on October 8th; it's now the 13th, and I still do not have the product I had wanted to try, and I have $50 in my account being held hostage for 5 days! I'm done being patient with this company. All email replies sound the same, just with a different customer service agent's name at the bottom of the page. I did some research online, and this is an everyday occurrence when dealing with IlMakiage.
There are many, many negative reviews online about exactly what I just described.
It's not just me! That doesn't make me feel any better; I'm still pissed and will be until I get the temporary hold off of my funds.
Preferred solution: Temporary hold taken off my funds asap, that's it.

No one answered the phone call that I made. I wanted to cancel my order.
I read what you wrote to me, and it said that I only had to pay $8, and when it went through my credit card, it was like $160 that you guys took out of my credit card. I don't think that is right, so I want to cancel my whole order, please.

I have requested a refund multiple times and received no reply. Please resolve this matter.

Was charged for not returning makeup that I havent received.Tried to contact the company but they do no not have a phone number. The number that is up tells you to email them.
I do not recommend anyone to use this product. Scammed

I received a product that was dry and unusable.
I placed an order with a credit I had with the company. The product came in dry and unusable.
I requested a replacement with another product or an exchange. I was told that it was a gift and I could not return it or exchange it. It was a credit, not a gift.
Also, why can I not exchange a product that I received that was defective (dry)? I keep getting emails saying I am not eligible for this; therefore, I am stuck paying for a bad product.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. They offered me a discount and told me to keep the product.
They always answered my email.

I think they should make their return easier. I want to send my item back, and I have no way of doing so on the app.
Their site is very difficult for me. Also, you should be able to talk to customer service. Please help me to get out of this nightmare.
And yes, that is how I feel about Il Makiage. Also, they want to let you cancel your card once they get the information.

Cancellation false advertising
They say its a 14 day free trial period but what they dont tell you is that theyre gonna charge you almost $100 without your knowledge.
When trying to contact them about what happened there is no contact number the one they provide on their site is just an automated machine. You cant even get a hold of a real person tell you to email.
They asked me for my email the order number and the address it was sent to
I told them I couldnt give them either because I didnt even get an email with confirmation about this trial.
Or anything I gave them proof that they charged my account and then they kept going on in circles about giving them the same information.
I gave them three times.
Im in the midst of trying to get my money back for false advertising. It was a scam.

I was contacted by your team. About the products that was sent to me.
I havent used the product. They havent told me the next step. On what to do with the products. Once I was told to keep it.
And now they are telling me send back. It is very frustrating when you cant get what you need.
I no longer have a box to send the the product or address to send back.
Pay attention to what you are buying from this company. I wouldnt be surprised if they charge me.

No answer. Then it's difficult to find a resolution.
Don't use the 'Try before you buy.' When you do get an email, they still try to get you to buy something instead of not charging you and making returns easy. The item doesn't work.
Ads say things that aren't true; it didn't change the look of my wrinkles. I don't have 100 words to say.
